Host Your Next Party at TPASC!

TPASC is the place to host a birthday or social party! With gymnasiumpooldive, or rock climbing options, there is a fun activity for everyone. All party packages are two (2) hours in length and include, one (1) hour activity portion, followed by one (1) hour in a party room. The packages are designed for groups of 20-28 guests. Larger groups, please contact us directly for more information.

All packages include a host that is there to greet the group, ensure proper set-up of the activity area, guide the group to the party room and answer any questions you may have.

No external food or beverage may be brought in for the party, as TPASC retains exclusive food and beverage rights to the facility. Catering menu is available upon request.

Gym PartyGym Party Package

Bounce to new heights with the Gym Party Package. The package includes a variety of equipment for a wide age range (8 years of age or younger). The package is a free play option or our Party Host can engage and facilitate games for the children. Adults are required to be in the activity area and assist with supervision.

Equipment: Bouncy castle, riding scooters, jumpy balls, mini basketball nets, tunnels, balls, etc.

Cost: $300.00+HST, includes $75.00 non-refundable deposit to reserve the space.  

 

 

 

Sport PartySport Party Package

For those wanting to engage in some friendly competition, our Sport Party Package is a free play option and includes 1–3 sports for the one-hour activity portion of the party. Available sports include basketball, volleyball, dodgeball, badminton, table tennis, soccer or floor hockey. The Party Host can also provide facilitation (basic refereeing) of games for the children, for an additional $15.00/hr. Adults are required to be in the activity area and assist with supervision.

Rock Climbing Party Package

Popular for social and corporate activities, our Rock Climbing Party Package provide participants with a fun and inspirational vertical ascent up the 41-foot climbing wall. Package options include a one or two-hour exclusive rental of the climbing wall along with guidance and supervision by certified climbing instructors. Children must be 5 years of age or older and there must be at least 1-2 adults present in the activity area.

Some guidelines regarding rock climbing to be aware of:

  1. Ensure your children are wearing the proper attire
    1. Footwear: Form fitting, closed toe, rubber bottom shoes. Running shoes with socks will be ideal!
    2. Clothing: Do not wear dresses or loose fitting clothing. Jeans are okay. Athletic wear is perfect!
    3. Hair: Long hair should be tied back and away from the face
    4. Jewelry: Do not wear any rings or large earrings
  2. No food or drinks (other than water) should be brought into the climbing wall area. Please make sure snacks and drinks are finished prior to the climbing session.

Pool Party Package

Make a huge splash with your next party or event! The Pool Party Package includes one hour in half of our Olympic-sized Training Pool and will be shallow water only. We will provide two (2) lifeguards for the group and adults must come ready to supervise in the water, as well as on deck.

TPASC adult to child ratios are in effect, please see below for regulations:

  • The water in the shallow end ranges from 0.89m to 1.23m (approximately 2.9 ft. to 4 ft.). There is no gradual progression, as the Training Pool has a hydraulic floor and is not on a declining slope.
  • TPASC Ratios:
    • 5 years and under – 1 adult: 2 children; always within arm's reach.
    • 6 years – 1 adult: 4 children; always within arm’s reach.
    • 7–9 years – 1 adult: 4 children; must pass swim test and adult must stay on deck actively supervising the children in the water.
    • 10+ years – 1 adult: 10 children; ready to actively supervise in the water and on the deck.
    • Adult is considered 18 years of age or older.

Dive Party Package

Invite guests to walk the plank for your next party! The package includes one hour in the Dive Pool with use of the 1-metre platform and 1-metre springboards, as well as three (3) lifeguards. Children must be 8 years of age or older.

TPASC adult to child ratios are in effect, please see below for regulations:

  • All participants are subject to a 50m swim test: no stopping, no aids (life jacket, water wings), no touching floor, must put face in water, must tread water for 30 seconds in deep water.
  • The Dive Pool is 5m deep (approximately 15 ft.).
  • TPASC Ratios:
    • 8–9 years – 1 adult: 4 children; must pass swimming test and adult must stay on deck actively supervising the children in the water.
    • 10+ years – 1 adult: 10 children; ready to actively supervise in the water and on the deck.
    • Adult is considered 18 years of age or older.

PARTY RENTAL FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

General

When I arrive, where do I go?

All party rentals are to check-in at the Information Desk located at the South Entrance of the facility. The Customer Service staff will notify the party host of your arrival and they will escort your group to the activity area.

When do I need to arrive?

Groups are to arrive 15-25 minutes prior to the Party.

Can I add time to the activity area or party room?

Yes, time can always be added to extend the length of the party. However, adding time is dependent on availability in the activity area or party room on that specific date. If there is availability, we can always extend the amount of time in either the activity area or party room for an additional cost.

Do you provide referees for sports?

The Games Facilitator is a service we provide for our Sport Party Package. They are there to keep the games organized and mildly referee the matches. There is an additional $15.00 fee to have a Games Facilitator.

Is there a reduced rate for smaller groups?

No, we do not provide a reduced rate if the size of the group is smaller than the number of participants listed for the package (20-28). Smaller groups can always consider just a rental of the court, rock climbing wall, pool, etc. if that better suits their needs.  

Parking

Do I have to pay for parking?

Parking is complimentary for the first two hours of each visit. Following the two-hour allotment, there is a $3.00 flat rate in the TPASC parking lots on Saturdays and Sundays.

Can I prepay for guest parking?

If you are interested in providing parking passes for your guests, we can arrange pre-paid parking vouchers for $3.50/voucher (the $.50 difference is due to an administrative fee from Parking Services).

Food & Beverage

Are you allowed to bring in food and beverages?

No external food or beverage may be brought into the building (i.e. pizza, sandwiches, juice/pop, etc.), as TPASC retains exclusive food and beverage rights to the facility. The cost of catering services is separate from the Party Package cost. You are permitted to bring in your own birthday cake or cupcakes if you wish to do so.

Can I bring in bottled water?

Guests can bring in a single water bottle, but you are not permitted to bring in a case of water for your party guests. TPASC is a LEED Gold Certified (Green) facility and we have filtered water filling stations and fountains located throughout the facility. We suggest advising guests to bring refillable water bottles for the activity portion of the party.

Do I need to provide my own plates, cups, cutlery, and napkins?

No, catering services will supply the group with enough plates, cups, cutlery and napkins. Catering can also supply a cake cutter.

Party Room

When do I have access to the party room?

For example, if your party is booked from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm, the activity will be for the first hour and party room will be the second hour. You will have access to the party room 30 minutes prior to the party room portion (i.e. 1:30 pm for 2:00 pm party room). The host may let you into the party room to decorate upon arrival, ONLY IF there is not another group in the room, otherwise you will have access 30 minutes prior to the scheduled party room time. If you can drop off your belongings upon arrival, the room will be locked and stay locked until 30 minutes prior to your designated party room time to ensure belongings are secure.

Am I allowed to decorate the party room?

Yes, you are permitted to decorate the party room. Any decorations placed on the walls or windows MUST be hung gently with green/blue painter’s tape. No other adhesives are permitted.

Does the party room have a fridge/freezer or kitchen?

No, the party rooms are not equipped with kitchens. The Party Rooms are typical meeting spaces and are not decorated in any way for children’s parties.
